LET'S RETURN BACK TO GOD

IT'S TIME "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed." Romans 13:11 It is no news that we in Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency have endured untold hardship owing to Ineffective Representation. The journey has  not only been rough and tough, it has been complicated and hopeless yet the dividends of democracy seem elusive. The conditions of our people are getting increasingly terrible. Cultism characterises our youths due to unemployment, infant mortality rate and that of pregnant women are increasing as a result of our dilapidated health care centers. Unlicenced and ill trained traditional health care attendants flourished and expired drugs found its way to our chemist and drug store. Thanks to the Governor who renovated our General Hospital and commissioned same recently Our actions and inactions led to this decay in the cradle of Ibibio Nation. The choices of leaders we voted or

AKHA 2019: IKONO STATE CONSTITUENCY ABASIONO OKON: Restoring Hope and True Representation People are at their best when the connection between them is strong and when a clear sense of purpose have been achieved. Today the challenges facing Ntippe Ibibio, are immense. The political system have betrayed the youth, who in their youthful days, envisioned better days for themselves. The time has come for a break from the old ways, for the restoration of hope, for responsible government, true and solid representation. This will be achieved as we believe that there is no problem too great that a committed and dedicated team cannot overcome. The legislature is an assemblage of the representatives of the people, elected under a legal framework to make laws for the good health of the society. It is the institutional body responsible for making laws and one through which the collective will of the people or part of it are articulated. There has been sounds of thunderous jubilations in Ikon

Even Now!! By: Prince Ntuk Master, we regret that you delayed in coming but even now, it is not too late' John 11:22 Men who see beyond the scene are men of faith. No matter our condition and situation today, we are confident that joy cometh in the morning. I may be sounding religious today, but I am confident that our tears will be rolled away. For the Egyptians we see today in our political offices, we shall see them no more because of  EMMANUEL(God with us). I am sure we have been where we have wept and groan bitterly because we could not find joy. We may have cursed ourselves and the Government because we had lost faith in the system. I write as a man who had been in that valley of tears where problems multiplied. I can rightly say that "the courage to do it differently is oftentimes the solution to our long years of misery" If those we elected increased our grief to their own delight, I make bold to say *"Even Now!!* that story can change because Emmanu
