Macaire's Victory Will Be A Victory For The Youths

2019: UKPONG-UDO'S VICTORY WILL BE A VICTORY FOR THE YOUTHS - UMOUDO

A foremost youth leader in Ikono LGA, Amb. Umoudo Sunday Umoudo says the victory of the PDP standard bearer for Ikono/ Ini federal constituency, Obong Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo ( Macaire) in Feb 16th polls will be a victory for the youths.

Mr Umoudo Sunday Umoudo stated this yesterday while playing host to youths of Ndiya/ usung Ikot Idaha, ward 8 in Ikono LGA, who paid him a solidarity visit to congratulate him on his recent appointment as SA, Akwa Ibom State Youth Caucus in his country home.

He said that a vote for Obong Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo in the 2019 election is a vote for effective representation.

The former aspirant charged youths of the area to take Macaire's campaign to all corners of the federal constituency.

While thanking the youths for the visit, Mr Umoudo urged them to preach the gospel of Macaire in their various polling units and canvass more support for Gov Udom Emmanuel, Obong Christopher Ekpeyong,  Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo, Asuquo Nana, PDP and enlighten the people to beware of deceitful individuals who are nothing but political jobbernowl.

_"Where was this political jobbers in 2012 when Ukpong-Udo initiated free medical services and empowered youths through skill acquisition and scholarship scheme?"_ Umoudo queried.

He admonished youths to emulate Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo's gesture of unconditional benevolence.

_"We are witnesses that Obong Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo has given out over 200 cars and 500 motorcycles unconditionally between 2012 - 2017"_ he said.

The peace ambassador tasked the youths to ensure that they don't only vote for PDP but also defend their votes in their various polling units.

_"Don't be intimidated when they say that our votes won't count, if our votes won't count, why do they go about buying votes?"_ he asked.

Responding, the leader of the delegation, Mr Idoreyin Edet Ukpong aka  Faraday said they had visited Mr Umoudo Umoudo to demonstrate their solidarity to him on his appointment and described it as a reward for hard work.

The youths reiterate their commitment to Macaire's project and promised to launch a door to door campaign for PDP ahead of 2019 general elections.

"We will deliver PDP in all elections in our ward in a landslide victory of over 95% winning margin" they assured.

Recall that, ward 8 in Ikono LGA is the vote basket of Ntippe Ibibio with about 40% voting strength of the total voting capacity of the area.
