MACAIRE, MBAKARA EXCITES IKONO PDP STAKEHOLDERS, PARTY OFFICERS & EXECUTIVES AT CHRISTMAS

Stakeholders and Party  Executives of the people's Democratic Party (PDP) from Ikono Local Government Area, on Monday, had cause to smile, as they received mouthwatering Christmas gifts from the PDP Candidate for Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency, Obong Emmanuel Ukpong and the PDP Flagbearer for Ikono State Constituency, Hon. Asuquo Udo.

At a Christmas Eve Meeting held at the Ewet Housing Residence of Hon. Asuquo Udo, popularly known as Mbakara Ikono, the Stakeholders and Ward Officers were presented with over 300 bags of rice and an undisclosed sum.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of PDP in Ikono LGA, Barr. Moses Akpan, thanked Hon. Asuquo Udo and Obong Emmanuel Ukpong for their generosity, adding that the gesture further goes to prove they won't disappoint the people when elected as House of Assembly Member for Ikono and House of Representatives Member fo Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency, respectively.

He also praised Governor Udom Emmanuel for his giant strides in the State and further reiterated their resolve to ensure the State Chief Executive is reelected for a second term.

Speaking, the PDP Candidate for Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency, Obong Emmanuel Ukpong, appreciated the people for their support and promised when elected, they will continually enjoy more of such gesture.

On his part, the PDP flagbearer for Ikono State
Constituency, Hon. Asuquo Udo, lauded the stakeholders and Ward Executive for standing firm with the PDP and Governor Udom Emmanuel.

He urged them to remain peaceful during and after the festive period, and also reminded them on the need to return Governor Emmanuel for a second term.

Present at the event were Ikono Stakeholders, Political Class, Party Chapter Officers, Councillors, PDP Ward Chairman & Officers, Youth Leaders and Women across all the wards from Ikono LGA.
