PRINCE NTUK SPEAKS OUT

*DISCLAMER*

My attention has been drawn from several quarters on a rife publication making rounds on several online platform with a caption *“Murder of Late Nsikak Etefia by Rt.Hon.Victor Udofia: A Call for Justice”* purportedly written by a certain  Sharon Ezekiel Pius who claimed to be working on the directives of the deceased family.

Ordinarily, I would have discounted the fallacies perpetuated by mischief-makers claiming that I sponsored the writer of that story. It is obvious that the carriers of such rumors do not know me very well or, they may be people who are drowning in their own misfortune and thus looking for responsible citizens with track records of civility and from a priesthood linage to drag alongside with them to the mud.

As laughable as this may be, I have choose to respond because of pressures from my fathers of faith, political associates and mentors.

I wish to state unequivocally that write-ups from me carries my name at all times and must reflect on my official Facebook timeline (www.facebook.com/princentuk) or my blog (www.akdiscuss.blogspot.com). I do not have the power to control the entire media space and would not want to be linked to such stories or characters again.

Neither was the late Nsikak Etefia known to me nor have I seen Hon. Iniodu Esah(the former councilor mentioned in the write up) in recent times aside gracing his occasion a month ago.

At the time of the said death of Nsikak Etefia (according to the write up), I was in the United Kingdom furthering my studies and could not have had a first-hand account as expressed in that article.

People who know me very well can attest to the fact that I only comment on issues that I am conversant with hence my non-challenge attitude towards the said write-up.

My greatest concern is that, this forth-coming election will end the era of impunity and poor representation in Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency with the emergence of Obong Emmanuel Ukpong-udo as our Representative in the Green Chambers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Anything short of this is far from me.

By this statement, I wish to advice that we all should embrace peace and work together for the good of Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency. *Matters of Justice should be filed in the court of competent Jurisdiction rather than the social media*.  I do sympathize with the deceased family going by the narrative so published but I do not want to be associated with such issues at a time like this.

_Please accept my warmest assurances_
